The Logo

 

 

The original logo was designed by Marcelo Galvao, a young Brazilian artist in Houston.  When BRATECC was being formed Marcelo free-lanced his talent at an important communications company in Houston, he now lives in Atlanta, GA.

 

Marcelo described the logo as the combination of separate cultures in harmony, "BRATECC logo represents the combination of two cultures and different places in harmony.  To illustrate this union I used the element that best represents a nation or state – its Flag.

 

Components from the Brazilian flag join elements in the Texas flag to show that all equal and thrive in harmony.  It is a unique and simple symbol, with a message that demonstrates the interaction between Brazil and the State of Texas.
