Marcelo leads Drummond’s Venture Investment area, focusing on the Brazil-US connection. He also serves as Drummond’s Chief Growth Officer (CGO), overseeing organic growth, M&A, strategy, sales, and marketing initiatives. He has international experience, working in countries such as France, Canada, USA, Brazil, and Morocco.

With experience in all aspects of the investment cycle (prospection, modelling, valuation, legal structuring, operational management and exit), Marcelo’s career has been focused in Private Equity and Venture Capital, M&A, Capital raising, Business and Strategy and management areas being exposed to several types and levels of transactions in the Oil & Gas, Retail and Media, Entertainment and Financial industries.

Marcelo is an Industrial Engineer, with several specialization courses, including 2 Masters – in Logistics and Finance – and pos-grad senior courses in Technology and Corporate Finance, attending outstanding education institution as UCSB in California/US, IMD in Lausanne/Switzerland, and Hult Internation Business School in Boston/US.
