Erik Cunha

Erik Cunha is Chief Commercial Officer at OceanPact, a publicly listed Brazilian company specialized in environmental services, subsea operations, maritime logistics, and engineering. He has more than twenty years of experience in building and leading organizations across the energy, maritime, and environmental sectors.

Throughout his career, Erik has played a key role in the creation and expansion of companies and business units, the management of complex projects, strategic negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, and IPO processes. At OceanPact, he led the diversification of the company beyond environmental emergency response into subsea operations and maritime logistics, contributing to its growth into one of Brazil’s leading players in the sector.

Erik previously served as CEO of Servmar, an OceanPact subsidiary, where he led the company’s integration process and strengthened its engineering and operational capabilities. Earlier in his career, he held executive roles at Cepemar (CP+), where he was responsible for corporate governance initiatives, business development, international expansion, and the successful sale of the company to the Suzano Group.

He has also served as a university professor in subjects related to strategy, negotiation, project management, and innovation. Erik is actively involved in corporate governance and industry associations and is Vice President of both the Brazilian Association of Maritime Support Companies (ABEAM) and the National Union of Shipping Companies (Syndarma).

Erik holds degrees in Computer Science, Accounting and Finance, Environmental Economics, and Business Administration, and has completed executive programs in negotiation and board leadership. He is fluent in Portuguese and English.
